Role Summary:
The Sales Support Representative (SSR) is the primary point of contact for the customer and collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments to respond to customer inquiries. The position works with the Sales leadership team in driving key initiatives and helping the Flowserve to achieve its goals and maximize sales bookings and opportunity pipelines. The SSR will use data as a strategic asset to provide decision support, accurate planning of sales quota forecasting, and sales productivity reporting and efficiency analysis.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Preparation of quotations and processing of orders through SAP
- Independent coordination and clarification of commercial and technical questions within the scope of quotation and order processing between the sales and technical departments
- Determination of cost estimates
- Customer focused and driven for results in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding engineering standards, knowledge on reading drawings, bill of materials, spare markings
- Independent working abilities under given guidelines
- Interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, written and verbal, across different channels and audiences
- Strong Commercial knowledge and attention to details
- Fundamental understanding of pump parts to best drive solutions to our valued end user customers.
Other duties as required
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Production discipline) with 2+ years of experience in engineering industries. Those who are certified with an engineering diploma (3 years course) and pursuing engineering graduation can also apply.
- Strong team building, organization, administration, communication, problem solving, influencing, and facilitating skills is required to manage.
- Experience in CPQ tools (Configure, Price, Quote) tools and SAP
- Fluency in Verbal and Written "English" communication.
- Proficiency in basic IT tools such as Windows, MS-Office products, PLM and other related tools
