Navan is looking for an experienced Salesforce CPQ Developer to help optimize and scale our quote-to-cash processes. This role is pivotal in enhancing our Salesforce ecosystem to support advanced product configurations, pricing strategies, and end-to-end sales workflows. You will lead the development of scalable CPQ solutions while collaborating closely with Sales, Finance, and Product teams to align technical implementations with business objectives.

As the subject matter expert on Salesforce CPQ architecture and development, you will support critical business functions across the revenue lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have deep technical skills, strong business process insight, and a proven track record with CPQ and Advanced Approvals in complex Salesforce environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead CPQ Development: Architect, develop, and maintain Salesforce CPQ solutions, including product configurations, pricing logic, approval workflows, discount strategies, and integration with systems like NetSuite.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Revenue Operations, Finance, and other business units to gather requirements and deliver scalable, efficient solutions within Salesforce.
  • Configure & Customize CPQ: Design and implement Product Rules, Price Rules, Approval Processes, Quote Templates, and subscription models to align with business needs.
  • Advanced Approvals: Design multi-tier approval processes, including rules, conditions, delegation chains, and automated workflows.
  • Custom Development: Build and maintain custom components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flow. Leverage Salesforce APIs for advanced functionalities.
  • System Integration: Integrate Salesforce CPQ with ERP, billing platforms, CLM tools, and eSignature services (e.g., DocuSign) using REST/SOAP APIs and native Salesforce features.
  • Project Ownership: Lead CPQ-related projects from planning through deployment, including technical design, development, QA, and support.
  • Data & Performance: Ensure data integrity, system performance, and scalability across the Salesforce platform, with a focus on automation and maintainability
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 2/3 support for CPQ-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend sustainable solutions.
  • Deployment & Lifecycle Management: Use CI/CD tools (e.g., Gearset), Git repositories, and SFDX for deployments. Familiarity with Agile development, Jira, and end-to-end SDLC is required.
  • Reporting & Queries: Proficiency in building reports, SOQL, and SQL queries for analysis and system insights.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of Salesforce platform experience, including at least 3 years focused on Salesforce CPQ.
  • Proven expertise in CPQ implementations, including Product and Price Rules, Advanced Approvals, and Quote Template development.
  • Strong command of Salesforce configuration and customization using Flows, Apex, LWC, and Visualforce.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration best practices with ERP, billing, and CLM systems.
  • Comfortable working in Agile teams and using tools such as Jira, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
