You will collaborate closely with administrators, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing, and reliable Salesforce applications while following best practices in development, testing, and deployment.

RequirementsKey Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable business logic using Apex classes, batch processing, scheduled jobs, and asynchronous processing techniques.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and platform events.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and administrators to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop reusable, maintainable, and high-quality code following Salesforce development best practices and coding standards.
  • Manage source code using Git/GitHub and participate in branching strategies, code reviews, version control, and CI/CD deployment processes.

  • Proven experience developing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and external system connectivity.
  • Experience with Salesforce security concepts including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security.
  • Proficiency with Git/GitHub, version control, and CI/CD deployment tools such as SFDX, Gearset, or Copado.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce declarative features, including Flows, and the ability to determine when to use configuration versus custom code.
  • Experience writing robust unit tests and following Salesforce testing and deployment best practices.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer certification is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted services, monitoring tools, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
