Job Description – SAP Datasphere (DSP) Developer
Role Summary
We are seeking a SAP Datasphere Developer to design the semantic and analytical layer on top of SAP HANA Cloud. Datasphere is used strictly for modeling and analytics, with no physical data storage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Fact Views and Analytic Models in Datasphere.
- Consume data remotely from SAP HANA Cloud.
- Implement parameter-driven analytics (rolling dates, comparisons).
- Ensure correct placement of calculations between:
- Fact Views
- Analytic Models
- Implement Data Access Controls (DAC).
- Support SAC live models with performant and reusable analytics.
- Understand replication, data flows, and transformation flows (conceptual).
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with SAP Datasphere modeling.
- Clear understanding of:
- Fact View vs Analytic Model behavior
- Calculation limitations and best practices
- Experience with:
- Parameters and dynamic calculations
- Remote data consumption
- Strong analytical and modeling mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting SAC live reporting.
- Exposure to future-state scenarios with limited data persistence
