The opportunity

You as an SAP PP Master Data Specialist will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Managing and maintaining core business data within an SAP system to ensure its accuracy, consistency, and reliability. This includes managing and maintaining key objects like material master data, bills of materials (BOMs), work centers, routings, component allocation, and production versions, which are crucial for efficient production planning and execution.

Your responsibilities 

  • Responsible to create work centers and able to define the capacity in accordance with planning requirements.

  • Responsible for defining and creating routing for each product and configuration.

  • Responsible to align with production engineering to reflect he processes time and actual manpower into the routing.

  • Responsible for allocating the components into different work centers in accordance with layout and actual location of BOM.

  • Responsible for creating the PSA for each work center in accordance with layout and kanban system.

  • Responsible for defining and creating control cycles and maintaining the changes in SAP.

  • Responsible for Maintaining MRP setting for each component according to layout and assembly scope.

  • Responsible to run E2E through SAP in QE2 and able to define the gaps for further developments

  • Employees shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by the direct manager to fulfil the job requirements.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering degree.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

  • In depth understanding of lean concept and applying lean six sigma tools

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Extensive experience 3- 5 years in SAP - PP and ability to solve problems.

  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
