Senior Analyst – Billing & Receivables operations

THE ROLE 

We're looking for a Senior Analyst for our billing and receivables operations. You'll own the full subscription lifecycle in Chargebee and drive the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process from subscription activation through cash collection. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

Subscription & Billing Operations 

• Own the end-to-end subscription lifecycle in Chargebee new setups, plan changes, upgrades, cancellations, credits, and refunds 

• Perform daily reconciliation between HubSpot closed-won deals and active Chargebee subscription • Manage failed payment recovery through dunning workflows and direct customer outreach • Partner with Sales and CS teams to resolve deal conflicts, contract discrepancies, and billing queries • Ensure data integrity in Chargebee ensuring customer records, subscription configurations, pricing, and billing details are accurate, complete, and audit-ready at all times. 

• Produce monthly MRR/ARR reporting new business, expansion, contraction, and churn with clear waterfall analysis 

Tax Compliance (Avalara & Chargebee) 

• Manage the Avalara AvaTax integration in Chargebee product tax codes, nexus configurations, and customer exemptions. 

• Reconcile tax collected in Chargebee against Avalara's jurisdiction-level liability reports monthly 

Accounts Receivable & Collections 

• Produce weekly AR aging reports and proactively escalate overdue accounts to Customer Success and Finance leadership 

• Ensure every new or renewal subscription generates an accurate, timely invoice. • Manage the full collections cycle structured follow-up cadences, CS escalation, and pre-suspension notices for chronic non-payers 

• Post and reconcile incoming payments daily; resolve unallocated receipts across Chargebee. 

• Track and report DSO monthly with root-cause commentary, and recommend bad debt provisions where warranted.
 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

•  1-3 years of experience in SaaS billing operations, revenue operations, or accounts receivable at a B2B SaaS company 

•  Hands-on proficiency with Chargebee subscription configuration, proration, reporting, and billing workflows 

•  Strong command of MRR/ARR metrics, revenue reconciliation, and financial reporting in Excel • Exposure to tax compliance tooling (Avalara or equivalent) is a strong advantage • Meticulous attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities without dropping accuracy 

• Clear, proactive communicator who can work effectively across Finance, Sales, and Customer Success
