Provide Level-2 support for enterprise infrastructure across Linux and Windows servers, virtualization, storage, cloud, networking, and container platforms. Responsibilities include system administration, provisioning, monitoring, incident resolution, root cause analysis, patching, OS hardening, vulnerability remediation, backup and recovery support, documentation, reporting, and coordination with L3 teams and vendors.
We are looking for an experienced L2 Infrastructure Support Engineer to support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across server, virtualization, storage, cloud, and networking environments. The role involves incident resolution, system administration, infrastructure monitoring, troubleshooting, patch management, and operational support to ensure high availability and performance of business-critical systems. Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Operations
• Administer and maintain Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms.
• Provision, configure, and support physical and virtual servers.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and capacity utilization.
Incident & Problem Management
• Provide Level-2 support for infrastructure incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot server, OS, virtualization, storage, and network issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Escalate complex issues to L3 teams and vendors when required.
Storage & Virtualization Support
• Manage enterprise storage systems, SAN connectivity, and LUN provisioning.
• Support VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or similar virtualization platforms.
• Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of storage resources.
Cloud & Platform Support
• Support cloud and private cloud infrastructure environments.
• Assist in deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud services.
• Support containerized and modern application platforms as required.
Security & Compliance
• Perform OS hardening and vulnerability remediation.
• Execute security patching and compliance activities.
• Follow organizational security, audit, and change management processes.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
• Update asset inventory and configuration records.
• Prepare incident, change, and operational reports.
