Senior Control Systems Specialist

Your responsibilities

Take our portfolio of successful smart products into the future.
In close cooperation with your colleagues, you will develop advanced software applications and make them ready for optimized operation. This includes, but not limited to, future automation solutions and digitalizing and smartifying our cement products.

• You will be involved in all phases – including analysis, design, implementation, simulation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of machine control systems
• You will play a key role in communicating to our internal stakeholders to identify and understand their requirements
• You will transfer the requirements to an efficient design in cooperation with other software developers and mechanical or electrical specialists, and implement the solution
• You will manage small projects with internal or external resources based on agile planning framework
• You will support commissioning teams on customers’ sites and take an active role in commissioning practice
• You will exchange ideas and knowledge within Group Digital to come up with innovative digital solutions for signal onboarding and cloud connectivity
• You will work in an international environment with highly motivated and dedicated colleagues, in a job, which you will have the opportunity to influence greatly

What you bring

• 15-20 years of experience within automation and electrical engineering
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming principles (preferably Siemens and Allen-Bradley)
• Knowledge of software development life cycle
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Good Communication Skills
• Flexibility to quickly adapt to new circumstances as they arise
• Desire/availability to travel internationally 20 to 60 days

• Hydraulics systems automation
• Project management life cycle
• Cloud deployment and asset insights
• Asset health and IoT enabled predictive maintenance
• Connectivity and Signal onboarding
