Designs, implements, and secures network, system, application, endpoint, cloud, API, and edge infrastructure. Manages DLP, endpoint security, vulnerability management, WAF and bot protection, CSPM, incident response, penetration testing, and forensic activities. Anticipates and mitigates attacks, performs risk assessments, and works independently with comprehensive cybersecurity expertise. The role may also involve developing AI security guardrails and providing technical leadership.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides functional and empirical analysis related to the planning, design, installation, and implementation of the network infrastructure.
- Proficient in DLP controls such as Microsoft Purview
- Proficient in Endpoint Security and Application Control technologies such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Proficient with Vulnerability platforms such as Qualys
- Experience and understanding of Edge Controls such as WAF & Bot Protection technology. Akamai Security experience is a plus.
- Experience with Cloud Security controls and CSPM platforms such as Orca, Wiz, Google SCC and Azure native controls.
- Experience with API Security.
- Understanding of AI Security guardrails.
- Anticipates and mitigates potential attacks through network or other connections to ensure the security of the system.
- Performs work under minimal supervision.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
- Typically reports to a department head or manager.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience with various information security technologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.

- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
- Experience with incident detection, incident response, and forensics.
- Experience with cloud security, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
