Seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to manage data processing, infrastructure changes, and automation in a cloud-based setting using tools like Terraform and AWS services.
N-IX is looking for a talented senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's Cloud-Storage Team.

Its philosophy is to maintain and develop an open source platform that contains all the functionality any individual might require and to continue adding functionality through both our own work and that of the community.
DevOps senior level with Python and Bash programming experience
Responsibilities:
- Work on data management and processing tasks, implement data migration and merges from different locations and setting up needed resources, policies and automation for that.
- Terraform is used as a main IaC tool with small injections of CloudFormation.
- Project uses AWS managed services for building their solution
- DevOps Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to onboarding new tenants, implementing infrastructure changes, and adjusting or creating scripted automation based on predefined templates. The role focuses on configuring and adapting existing solutions rather than designing new systems from scratch. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, automation scripting, and cloud-based deployment processes is essential.
- DevOps specialist will be joining team distributed across US and Europe with already established development process, regular plannings, sync ups and sprints.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support critical incidents and ensure high system availability.
Requirements:
- AWS cloud service hands-on experience (VPC, IAM),
- Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform, GitOps Workflows, Infrastructure as Code, Secret Management
- EKS cluster management
- Strong knowledge in working with AWS S3, understanding best practices, performance optimization and processing of big (petabyte) data. AWS networking related to data transfer and migration between cloud providers. Understanding and building resources using Terraform
Nice to have:
- Experience working with object store services in GCP and Azure. AWS Step Function experience
