Position: Electrical Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer
Qualification: B.E (Electrical and Electronics/Instrumentation and Controls) (4 to 8 years)
Job Description:
Dynamic Electrical Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience in design and development of Electrical systems for injection molding machines, extrusion machines, Special purpose machines. These professionals are primarily responsible for ensuring that electrical designs are functional, sustainable, and safe. They collaborate closely with other engineering staff to create systems from conceptual stages through to implementation.
Requirements:
•Working Design experience with industrial control system & panel design.
•Working experience with design software like AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Engineering Base, 3D-Creo.
•Basic knowledge on Sizing and selection of Induction & Servo motor and AC & Servo Drive as per Injection Molding machine Application.
•Basic Knowledge in Sizing calculation for Switchgear Power & PLC control components and cable calculation.
•Basic Knowledge on HMI (Human Machin interface), Sensors, Safety components, Process instruments.
•Good knowledge in CE (IEC) & UL508 certified panel design.
•Electrical Circuitry Development:
➢Develop the Electrical circuitry, layout, and bill of materials for New Product and New Features as per demand from market, internal and external customers, competitor product analysis and internal system improvements.
➢Ensure that the design output meets the design-input requirements and confirms to all adopted design standards.
➢Familiar with NEC, NFPA or related industry standard codes.
➢Maintain, improve, and upgrade the features of existing circuitry / layout.
➢Ensure parts / component standardization to reduce variations wherever possible and work towards Indigenization of components.
➢Work towards improving machine & human safety.
•Global Support:
➢Provide on-shore and off-shore support on Global projects for existing machines.
➢Electrical Design of Export machine with ANSI Safety & With UL Safety Standard & Export Europe machine with “CE” Safety.
•Identify and work on Cost reduction & Product improvement areas.
•Maintain records as per ISO and other applicable standard for Electrical.
•Possess basic troubleshooting skills for electrical components.
•Knowledge on ERP and Windchill (WT parts, check in, check out, life cycle management)
•Basic Knowledge in Inspection test protocol for Electrical equipment’s
•Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory standards.

3.Ability to prioritize and plan effectively and ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
