Job Description:
The Wireless Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Analog Mixed Signal Verification Engineer for our next generation high-performance, low-power wireless SoC and attach solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the Sub-system and Chip-level mixed-signal simulations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including analog, verification, design, and validation to deliver high-quality products. Successful candidate requires strong collaboration across sites and functions, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Sub-system, Chip level AMS and spice simulations
- Review and understand SoC specifications and requirements
- Perform ERC and PISI analysis.
- Development of AMS simulation methodologies/flows.
- Support the validation team in qualifying silicon ICs and debugging potential issues.
- Interfacing with external vendors and IP sources to resolve problems.
- Ability to work well in a team and excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
- Working with members from international design and implementation teams
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in EC/EE or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
- Basics of Analog Circuit analysis
- Good understanding of CMOS device operation and characteristics
- Perform Sub-system level and Full-chip level Spice simulations.
- Good understanding of analog macros such as ADC/DAC, PLL, Voltage Regulator, Bandgap, Comparator, etc.
- Circuit simulation experience using Cadence, Questa ADMS, Spectre, HSPICE, or any equivalent tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Explore new flows and simulation tools and ideas for continuous improvement.
- Experience with scripting languages like PERL, SKILL, TCL or equivalent to automated flows is a plus.
- Excellent English reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
