How We Work?
We love to work together and collaborate in our teams, which is why we opted for a hybrid model, allowing us to work from the office 2-3 times per week.
Mission and Goals:
This is a full-time role for a Senior Delivery Manager located in Chennai. This role requires managing multiple scrum teams ( up to 3) and supervises both the product backlog that team consumes and deliver ensuring team is executing objectives as per committed plan. In addition to regular people responsibilities – role also requires cross team collaboration and be an escalation delivery contact leader for resolving technical challenges, resolve conflicts and encourage to provide enhanced features partnering with product for changing business needs and grabbing revenue opportunities. Takes care of delivery ownership of committed items and helps team set and accomplish goals challenging the status co setting bar high. This role is an on-site position in Chennai. Be a situational motivator to the team and drive by deeper involvement into product.
Objectives:

Techno functional & engineering delivery lead for minimal 2 to 3 modules of a core product

Responsible for managing minimal 3 to 4 scrum teams consisting of roles including principal engineers, Sr. PO, Sr. QA & team under them

People responsibilities like setting goals based on BU strategic roadmap, performing appraisals and enabling winning culture

Proactive ownership to provide timely resolution to execution and tactical challenges

Improve quality / certification abilities of product release

Initiatives that lead to automate build & release complexities

Guide and coach team on design & implementation challenges by collaborating with right set of people and help make crucial execution decision

Assist team in setting high performance standards for maximized results

Facilitate escalation and resolve conflicts as required

Learn & adapt to obtain security and related core feature domain expertise

Participate in agile process improvement activities

Provide weekly accomplishment stats to leadership

Lead and own new process improvements

Good team player & motivator, facilitating cross functional and cultural team interaction

Flexible to attend calls at overlap between CET and PST time on needed basis
Competencies:
-
BE / M Sc / MCA / Any Computer Related Degree
-
Total 15 + years of IT experience managing teams with diversified skills and proven track of delivering product solution using multiple skillset
-
Must have experience in leading teams to deliver features and product enhancements with engineering excellence comprising product development, testing, automation and release support involving technologies preferably using few among - C++, C#, AWS, JS, Python, angular, Java & exposure to AI/ML models

5+ years of end to end product development with accountability in satisfying project triple constraint demands (cost, schedule and quality)

Strong in evangelizing iterative development using agile/scrum practices

Knowledgeable in OOPS, design patterns, data structures and best architectural practices
-
Familiar with project management / bug triaging tools like JIRA

Familiar with source control systems like GIT and build framework using Teamcity / MSBuild / Jenkin

Strong in guiding team to solve problems using right debugging & review tools
-
Certified PMP, ACP, CSM roles will be an added advantage

Additional technical certification will be a plus

Has better understanding and expertise of working on functional or technology competencies and using the best knowledge available for team’s productivity.
