Role: Senior Java Developer with Spark

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Java Developer with expertise in Apache Spark to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to innovative projects across various sectors, including banking, automotive, and public services.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Java and Apache Spark.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
- Implement data processing workflows using Spark and integrate with various data sources.
- Optimize application performance, including tuning Spark jobs for scalability and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough testing including unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests to ensure software quality.
- Produce technical documentation and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in agile development practices and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in Java development with a strong understanding of OOP principles.
- Experience with Apache Spark, including Spark Core, SQL, and Streaming.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, or Kafka is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of relevant frameworks, including Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
- Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and working with relational databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
