The Delivery Management function within NIQ is a key functionality that provides instructions to power client outputs and manage access.
As a Senior Manager in Delivery Management you would be expected to take ownership of Delivery of requirements, participate in Scrum ceremonies, drive quality code and participate in deployment and support activities in consultation with stakeholders and product leaders
Key Responsibilities
Lead endtoend ownership of enterprise Delivery Management platforms, including data configuration, routing, schema governance, validation workflows, and controlled rollouts across complex, scaled environments.
Drive modernization initiatives for data delivery systems using Java/Spring Boot microservices, cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps pipelines, observability frameworks, and secure CI/CD.
Oversee planning and execution of program roadmaps, quarterly releases, resource allocations, and delivery KPIs.
Partner with crossfunctional stakeholders—platform engineering, security, product, compliance, and downstream application teams—to define strategic platform capabilities and ensure SLA-driven data delivery.
Embed DevSecOps practices including SAST/DAST integration, secrets governance, artifact signing, and policy compliance across all pipelines and releases.
Integrate and scale GenAI & Microsoft Copilot solutions to automate configuration validation, accelerate developer productivity, and enhance operational efficiency.
Provide technical leadership in architecture reviews, solution design, cloud migrations, operational readiness, and data delivery optimization.
Establish and maintain observability standards (logging, metrics, tracing) to proactively improve system reliability, reduce MTTR, and meet platform SLAs.
Mentor and lead distributed engineering teams of large size, fostering engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and strong delivery discipline.
Additional Responsibilities
Champion modern data delivery practices and contribute to enterprise-wide frameworks for metadata, authorization patterns, and configuration governance.
Manage project financials, forecasting, vendor coordination, and resource optimization.
Drive risk management, issue mitigation, and dependency resolution to ensure predictable and high-quality platform releases.
Contribute to enterprise cloud transformation initiatives, including platform migrations, modernization programs, and performance optimization.
Promote a culture of innovation, leveraging AI/automation-first thinking across engineering workflows.
Lead high-impact modernization programs, improving global reporting efficiency and platform performance.
Build strong relationships with business partners to align technology delivery with strategic business goals.
Conduct performance reviews, skills development planning, and hiring for engineering and delivery roles.
15+ years of experience in enterprise application development and technical leadership.
Hands-on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, distributed application design, and microservices-based architecture, data configuration models, routing logic, schema versioning, and validation workflows.
Cloud expertise in Microsoft Azure, including deployments, migrations, pipelines, and cloud-native architecture.
Deep experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, SAST/DAST, secrets management, artifact integrity, and compliance controls.
Agile & SAFe program execution, including sprint planning, release management, and scaled delivery practices.
Experience leading large, distributed engineering teams.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including working with global engineering, product, and security teams.
Experience implementing observability (logging, metrics, tracing) to improve operational reliability and SLA performance.
Strong leadership skills: Currently leading and be responsible for one or more scrum teams (6-8 member teams)
