Job description: Senior Manager – Finance (Taxation and Company Secretary)
Requirements:
- Must be a qualified Company Secretary (CS) and possess CA Inter/CA certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and company secretarial work.
- Comprehensive understanding of Indian GAAP and its application.
- Strong proficiency in statutory and internal audit processes.
- Demonstrated ability in preparing detailed MIS reports.
- Experience in financial planning and budgeting.
- Thorough knowledge of taxation regulations and compliance.
- Having proficiency in SAP would be an added advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Functions:
Planning and Budgeting: Lead the planning and budgeting processes, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial planning. MIS Reporting: Prepare and present detailed Management Information System (MIS) reports for both in-country and regional management, offering valuable insights and comprehensive analysis. Preparation of Financial Statements: Prepare financial statements in accordance with Indian GAAP, ensuring full compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. Monthly Book Closure: Coordinate and manage the monthly book closure process, ensuring accurate and complete financial records. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage and oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Auditing: Handle statutory and internal auditors, providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Taxation Support: Assist with taxation matters, ensuring full compliance with relevant tax regulations.
Company Secretarial Functions:
Board Meeting Preparation: Prepare notices and agendas for Board Meetings, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared. Minutes of Meetings: Accurately record and maintain minutes of all Board Meetings. RoC Filing Requirements: Ensure timely and accurate filing of documents with the Registrar of Companies (RoC). Annual Filing: Manage and coordinate the annual filing process, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. CSR Compliance: Oversee Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) compliance, ensuring proper documentation and reporting of all activities. Other Secretarial Compliance: Handle other secretarial compliance tasks, including filing returns and responding to notices as required.
