The Senior Network Automation Engineer designs and implements large-scale automated network solutions, focusing on enterprise networking, CI/CD pipeline development, and automation tools like Python and Ansible.
Job Summary & Responsibilities
- 9+ years in enterprise networking design, implementation, and operational roles.
- Experience working in very large network environments.
- Strong client-facing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale automated network solutions in a structured, consultative, and hands-on manner.
- Proven design and execution of enterprise firewall policy rollouts.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts: routing, switching, LAN/WAN, and data Centre architectures.
- Strong experience with version control, Github, GitLab, etc.
- Proficiency in Python for automation, orchestration, and REST API backend development.
- Proficiency with automation and orchestration tools: Ansible, Terraform, and other IaC frameworks.
- Skilled in CI/CD pipeline development, including concurrency handling, resilience, integrity, and security best practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for both networks and automation pipelines
- Candidates will be required to undergo background checks prior to commencing employment
- Remote role supporting clients, with approximately 20% based in India and 80% in Australia

Preferred Qualifications- Design, develop and test automation solutions for network and security infrastructure
- Build automated CI/CD workflows for provisioning, validating, and maintaining routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure.
- Integrate automation workflows into business processes, high-availability platforms, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) to operationalize production changes
- Develop modular, reusable Terraform and Ansible components for network and security infrastructure.
- Implement automated testing for configuration compliance, policy checks, and change validation.
- Integrate automation with monitoring, logging, and event-driven systems.
- Build automated firewall policy deployment and compliance solutions
- Troubleshoot automation pipelines, configuration issues, and network integrations
- Document automation designs, workflows, and operational procedures.
- Develop and maintain REST API backends to support orchestration and configuration management workflows.
- Collaborate with network, security, DevOps, and platform teams to deliver reliable and secure automation outcomes.
