Job Description/Responsibilities:

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Provide third-level support for complex network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Diagnose and resolve advanced network issues escalated from L1 and L2 support, applying in-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis for recurring network problems and develop permanent solutions to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Monitor network performance and analyze traffic patterns using advanced network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks, security threats, or performance issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot hardware or software issues, coordinating efforts to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
  • Perform regular audits of network configurations, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and train junior network engineers, sharing expertise on advanced troubleshooting techniques, network design principles, and security best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for critical network incidents (Major Incident Management-MIM) or maintenance activities, ensuring the availability and reliability of network services. End-to-End responsibility.
