The Senior Network Operations Engineer role involves joining a skilled 24x7 team maintaining reliable, high-performing, large-scale network infrastructure. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to support CDN and cloud compute platforms while enhancing network observability and operational practices.
As a Senior Network Operations Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Investigating and resolving routing and switching faults across large-scale network environments
- Troubleshooting backbone and fabric network topology issues
- Leading and supporting the resolution of high-severity technical incidents
- Acting as a subject matter expert during incident response and operational reviews
- Designing, developing, and maintaining alerts, runbooks, dashboards,and monitoring solutions to improve fault detection and operational visibility
- Installing, configuring, and optimizing network infrastructure while developing operational tools, automation, and technical documentation to support it effectively and efficiently.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent field.
- Have 5+ years of hands-on experience operating and supporting large-scale network environments.
- Have excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.
- Possess expertise in IP networking, routing, and switching, with CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent certifications.
- Have experience operating and troubleshooting service provider networks and Internet routing protocols, including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, and MPLS.
- Have experience writing, modifying, and troubleshooting SQL queries.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform advanced troubleshooting beyond standard procedures.
- Have Working hours: Weekend Saturday to Monday (3 days x 12hours) 6pm - 6am (night shift)
