About the Job:
Senior Product Designer plays a key role in crafting seamless, AI-enhanced user experiences that empower local businesses worldwide. This role leads the end-to-end design process, blending creativity with strategic thinking, and works cross-functionally to deliver intelligent, human-centered features. The Senior Product Designer helps evolve Vendasta's unified design system and elevates the overall product experience in a rapidly advancing digital landscape.
Your Impact:

In this role, you will:

• Partner with product managers and engineers to define product strategies aligned with user needs and business goals.
• Drive product discovery through data, AI-assisted research tools, and predictive modeling to shape outcomes.
• Reduce product complexity by simplifying interfaces and enhancing usability across the platform.
• Integrate AI-generated personas, behavioral segmentation, and journey insights to guide strategic design decisions.
  
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including POD teams, to ensure design alignment and execution.
• Present concepts and design evolution during sprint reviews, strategy syncs, and tech demos.
  Promote use of AI-powered collaboration tools to enhance feedback cycles, workshops, and critiques.
  
• Mentor junior designers through feedback sessions, design reviews, and paired collaboration.
• Contribute to evolving design processes, systems, and tooling across the team.
• Share AI frameworks, prompt libraries, and best practices to foster adoption and innovation.
  
• Conduct and apply qualitative and quantitative research to inform and validate design decisions.
  Champion a data-informed approach by synthesizing insights from user behavior, sentiment analysis, and AI-driven feedback clustering.
  
• Deliver high-fidelity visual and interaction designs using Vendasta’s Galaxy design system and Figma.
• Leverage AI design tools for prototyping, layout generation, and rapid iteration.
• Continuously improve existing features based on user feedback, research findings, and usability metrics.
• Validate concepts with AI-supported user testing and analytics to ensure product-market fit and user delight.

What you bring to the table:

• Visual & Interaction Design: Advanced ability to create compelling, accessible digital interfaces.
• UX Research & Validation: Skilled in research methodologies and applying user insights to product design.
• Information Architecture & Prototyping: Strong capacity to structure content and craft interactive experiences.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills across disciplines.
• Design Systems & Tools: Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI-enhanced design tools.
• AI-enhanced UX Practices: Working knowledge of personalization engines, generative design, and predictive UX testing.
• Project Management: Able to manage design initiatives from concept through execution.
• Front-End Development (Preferred): Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript to support design-to-dev handoff.
  
•  5–7+ years in Product Design, ideally within SaaS or a tech-forward environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field preferred.
