Headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA, with 250+ employees worldwide, Sonatus combines the agility of a fast-growing company with the scale and impact of an established partner. Backed by strong funding and proven by global deployment, we’re solving some of the most interesting and complex challenges in the industry. Join us and help redefine what’s possible as we shape the future of mobility.

Sonatus is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Recruiter (Contract) to lead our hiring efforts across EMEA, with a focus on Ireland, France, Germany, and Poland. This is a 6-month contract role in our Dublin, Ireland office, reporting to our Talent Acquisition Director in Sunnyvale, California. You will be employed and payrolled through Morgan McKinley.

In this role, you will own all recruitment across EMEA, spanning both technical and non-technical positions, with a particular emphasis on technical hiring (software engineering, embedded systems, cloud, and related roles). You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, build strong partnerships with hiring managers, and ensure a world-class candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own the end-to-end recruitment process for EMEA roles, with a focus on technical positions.
  • Sourcing & Engagement: Proactively identify and engage top talent using a variety of sourcing methods (LinkedIn Recruiter, networks, events, job boards, etc.).
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates across key disciplines and geographies.
  • Candidate Assessment: Screen and interview candidates to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers globally for EMEA-based roles to understand hiring needs, advise on recruitment strategies, and provide updates on progress.
  • Offer Management: Drive the offer process, including salary negotiations and ensuring a smooth handoff to onboarding.
  • Market Insights: Stay current on EMEA market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory requirements to inform hiring strategies.
  • Employer Branding: Support initiatives that strengthen Sonatus’s reputation as an employer of choice in Europe.
  • ATS Management: Maintain accurate candidate records and reporting in Greenhouse (our ATS).
  • Compliance: Ensure all hiring practices comply with local labor laws and regulations across EMEA.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, with significant focus on technical hiring.
  • Proven experience hiring in EMEA (Ireland, France, Germany, and/or Poland).
  • Strong track record of successfully recruiting software engineers, embedded systems engineers, cloud engineers, and other technical talent.
  • Comfortable also managing non-technical hiring needs.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected with the global Talent Acquisition team.
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS is a plus.
  • Previous work in a fast-paced, scaling environment (startup or high-growth company) preferred.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages (e.g., German, French, Polish) are a plus.
  • Ability to work from our Dublin office 3 days a week.
Sonatus is a fast-paced and innovative company and are seeking team members who are passionate about making a difference. If you are ready to take your career to the next level, we highly encourage you to apply.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
