Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, and Microsoft Azure to design and build scalable, cloud-native microservices. The role focuses on modernizing legacy applications and integrating them with RSS and event-driven systems using Azure services.
You will play a key role in architecture decisions, cloud adoption, and mentoring engineers while delivering secure, high-performance applications on Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot on Azure cloud.
- Build and enhance frontend components using React, collaborating with UI/UX teams for end-to-end delivery.
- Architect and implement Azure-based solutions for scalability, resilience, and security.
- Enable integration between legacy systems and modern RSS applications using Azure messaging and event-driven architectures.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy using Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Apply clean code, testing, and DevSecOps best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering excellence.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in Azure environments.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, DevOps, QA, and Frontend teams.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s /Master's degree in computer science, Engineering,
- 10+ years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, React
- Solid understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Experience with message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ / Azure Service Bus).
- Experience with tools like GitHub or Terraform or JFrog Artifactory or any other Artifactory
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure services, including Azure Event Hub
- Good exposure / experience with Python

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional Agile teams.
