As a Senior Engineer (Oracle HCM, OIC & OCI), you will design, build, and support critical solutions across Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will contribute hands-on expertise in HCM modules, integrations, and security configurations, while leveraging OCI services for scalability and reliability. You will also play a key role in supporting HR operations, payroll integrations, and compliance reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and support integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and downstream systems (payroll, finance, compliance).
Configure and extend Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Recruiting, Talent, Learning and Compensation).
Leverage Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to develop REST/SOAP APIs, file-based integrations, and scheduled orchestration flows.
Develop and maintain Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher Reports, and HDL (HCM Data Loader) scripts.
Implement and maintain solutions on OCI for performance, security, and scalability.
Configure IAM policies, dynamic groups, compartments, and SSO (Single Sign-On) using OCI client authentication.
Implement authentication and authorization flows using OAuth 2.0, federated identity, and IDCS (Identity Cloud Service).
Ensure compliance with corporate security, SOX, and audit requirements.
Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide production support for HCM Cloud, addressing issues within SLAs.
Contribute to CI/CD automation for Oracle HCM deployments.
Document technical design and share knowledge across the team.
Mentor offshore contractors on Oracle HCM and integration best practices.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in software engineering or application support, with at least 2+ years in Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion).
- Hands-on experience with HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Recruiting, Learning).
- Strong experience with Oracle HCM integrations: OIC, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, REST/SOAP APIs.
- Exposure to OCI services (compute, storage, identity, monitoring).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of security and IAM in Oracle HCM & OCI.
- Experience with HR compliance reporting and audit controls.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Cloud.
- Exposure to Azure or GCP cloud services for hybrid integration scenarios.
- Oracle HCM or OCI certifications.
