Senior Staff Engineer, SAP ABAP,AI

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of SAP technical development experience
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP (enhancements, reports, interfaces, performance tuning)
• Experience with RAP, CDS Views, OData, and SAP Fiori/UI5
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP extensions and integration patterns
• Experience in AI-enabled application development (LLMs, agentic workflows, automation)
• Knowledge of API design, microservices, event-driven architecture, and OOP principles
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud-native deployments
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end SAP AI solution architecture and production rollouts
• Strong understanding of security, governance, scalability, and enterprise standards
• Excellent stakeholder communication and team leadership skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop SAP AI-powered extensions and automation solutions
• Integrate LLMs, vector search, and AI workflows into SAP landscapes
• Define scalable architecture, coding standards, and best practices
• Lead POCs to production deployments with measurable KPIs
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with functional and business stakeholders to translate requirements
• Mentor developers and resolve complex technical challenges
• Drive DevOps, CI/CD strategy, and AI governance standards

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
