Senior L3 Systems Engineer with 10+ years supporting Windows Server environments. Troubleshoot AD (FSMO, trusts, replication, GPO), DNS, DHCP, clustering, patching, hardware/RAID, backups, certificates/IIS, and Azure/Azure AD Connect. Perform migrations (AD, DHCP, file/print), RCA for P1/P2 incidents, liaise with US/EU customers, escalate to lower tiers, and participate in change implementations. Works ITIL processes and 24x7 rotation shifts.
Experience of minimum 10 years of core Windows servers for L3 position.
Must know
- Active Directory Architecture, FSMO, Trusts, replication issues, GPO troubleshooting, Sites and services
- DNS troubleshooting
- DHCP knowledge
- Windows Server core troubleshooting (Server performance analysis, BSOD,)
- Server Hardware (HP, Dell, IBM, Cisco UCS, Blade Servers) / Raid troubleshooting.
- Backup troubleshooting
- Windows cluster troubleshooting & Migration and log analysis.
- Windows patching troubleshooting
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for Major Incidents and P1/P2 cases
- Migration - DHCP\AD\File and print server.
- Certificate authority (Root CA / Subordinate CA), IIS website renewals.
- Azure resources management

Roles and Responsibilities
- Providing support to US & Europe customers hence communication should be crisp.
- Interact with customers, end-users and team members.
- Escalation points for lower tier technical teams
- Installation, configuration, maintenance and support for hardware, operating systems and applications
- Participation in completing customer change requests and problem ticket resolution outside of normal business hours.
