About the role:
Gartner is looking for a strong ETL Datawarehouse Sr Test Engineer with a background in Enterprise Datawarehouse ETL and BI Report Quality validation expertise.
What you will do:
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for Enterprise Datawarehouse solutions.
Conduct thorough testing of ETL and BI Reports to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and business rules. Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in data management processes.
Perform root cause analysis on data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
Validate data integration and data migration processes to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
Develop test scripts for data testing in Enterprise Datawarehouse for data accuracy, data completeness & data integrity.
Who you are:
4-6 years of experience in Information Technology with specialization in Dawarehouse/ETL Quality Assurance.
4+ years of hands-on proficiency in SQL and data querying tools for comparing and testing data.
Strong understanding of Datawarehouse concepts, including Extract Transform Load(ETL), Business Intelligence Reports, Dimension and Fact tables.
Proven experience in quality assurance, specifically in Enterprise Datawarehouse environments.
Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, and data quality standards.
Experience with ETL tools and Query platforms such as Informatica, Azure Data Factory, SSMS, TOAD
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required
Excellent communication skills.
Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
Owns success – Takes responsibility for the successful delivery of the solutions.
Strong desire to improve upon their skills in tools and technologies.
