Position Summary: We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to thoughtfully contribute to our award-winning athenaCollector product in Chennai. In this role, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary agile R&D team to define, design and test product and digital service features with the goal of creating valuable and delightful experiences for our users.
Education, Experience, & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, Business or related disciplines
- 5 to 9 years of professional experience working in digital design
- Solid capability in UX creative and design techniques
- Experience facilitating and summarizing user research as part of field studies and in-person or remote evaluative testing
- Understand how to work within agile development process for the design, development, and delivery of software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Identify and frame user-centered problems effectively
- Conducting discovery to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points through methods such as interviews, surveys and observational studies.
- Developing and organizing the structure of information within a product to ensure that users can easily navigate and find what they need.
- Creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and facilitate user testing and feedback.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams throughout the agile planning, design and development process to deliver released product that meets design intent
- Collaborate with your team to ensure product features meet UX quality standards for workflow, interaction design.
- Presenting design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, gathering feedback, and incorporating it into the design process.
