The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CMDB solutions while ensuring data quality, governance, and seamless integration with enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB in alignment with CSDM (Common Service Data Model) best practices. Configure and manage Discovery, Service Mapping, MID Servers, and Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE). Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub. Implement CMDB governance processes, data certification, reconciliation rules, and data quality improvements. Configure and maintain CI classes, CI relationships, identification rules, and reconciliation definitions. Develop and support REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise applications. Work closely with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to ensure accurate CMDB population. Develop Service Catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer automations, and approval processes as required. Monitor CMDB Health Dashboards and implement corrective actions to improve completeness, correctness, and compliance. Support platform upgrades, deployments, production issues, and release management activities. Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and knowledge transfer documents. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. Required Technical Skills 7–10 years of overall IT experience with 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience. Strong hands-on experience with: ServiceNow CMDB CSDM Discovery Service Mapping Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) MID Server Strong knowledge of ITOM, ITSM, and Configuration Management processes. Experience with: Business Rules Client Scripts Script Includes UI Policies UI Actions Flow Designer Integration Hub Service Catalog REST/SOAP APIs Strong JavaScript development skills. Experience with Service Portal and Performance Analytics is a plus. Familiarity with HAM/SAM modules is an added advantage. Knowledge of platform upgrades, update sets, and instance management. Required Certifications ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Preferred ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery (Preferred) ITIL Foundation Certification – Preferred Required Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
