Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end site execution activities to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery.
- Ensure all site works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, contractual requirements, and project schedules.
- Plan and supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and related site activities in coordination with the project team.
- Manage and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure smooth workflow and optimum resource utilization.
- Monitor site progress against project milestones and implement corrective actions to address delays, deviations, and execution challenges.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, statutory requirements, and site regulations.
- Review manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and material availability to support uninterrupted execution.
- Conduct regular site reviews, progress meetings, inspections, and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Identify site-related risks, technical issues, and execution bottlenecks, and work closely with engineering and project management teams for timely resolution.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of progress reports, inspection records, daily activity reports, and other necessary site documentation.
Required Competencies
- Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical or EEE with 8-10 Yrs of experience
- Strong experience in site management, project execution, and supervision of industrial/project site activities.
- Sound knowledge of installation of 220KV switch yard, 220KV GIS, Higher range transformer i.e.188MVA etc, 11 KV switch boards and other panels, cable laying etc.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, industrial safety standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents.
- Proven leadership capability in managing site teams, contractors, and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong communication, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under demanding site conditions.
Preferred Profile
- Proven track record in managing large-scale industrial or infrastructure project sites i.e. Trunkey projects.
- Experience in handling client-facing site responsibilities and contractor management.
- Willingness to travel and work across different project locations as required.
