Fullstack Software Engineer (Node.js + React) – Cloud & Scalable Applications

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Software Engineer Fullstack with strong expertise in Node.js and React to join our dynamic technology team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable fullstack applications that support our business objectives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance software solutions, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and stay current with evolving industry best practices. Software Requirements

Required Skills:

• Node.js: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in developing server-side applications with Node.js.

• JavaScript & Frameworks: Proven proficiency in JavaScript, including frameworks such as Express.js and React.js, with at least intermediate competence in Angular.js or similar technologies.

• Front-End Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and client-side JavaScript.

• Cloud Computing Platforms: Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Databases: Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases, especially MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

• Version Control: Proficiency in Git for source code management.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Exposure to serverless architecture and related services.

Overall Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable fullstack applications emphasizing Node.js for backend and React.js for frontend.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define features and technical specifications.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications to improve performance, security, and user experience.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to coding standards and best practices.

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions for continuous improvement.

• Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment, integration, and reliable operation of applications.

• Measure and improve application performance, scalability, and security.

Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming Languages:

• Required: JavaScript, Node.js (≥5 years of experience)

• Preferred: TypeScript, other relevant languages as applicable

Databases/Data Management:

• Required: MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server

• Preferred: Experience with database architecture design and optimization

Cloud Technologies:

• Required: Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Preferred: Hands-on experience with cloud services like AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, or Azure Functions

Frameworks & Libraries:

• Required: Express.js, React.js (at least intermediate)

• Preferred: Angular.js, Redux, Next.js, or similar frameworks

Development Tools & Methodologies:

• Required: Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, CI/CD pipelines

Security & Compliance:

• Familiarity with secure coding practices, OAuth, JWT, and data protection standards is advantageous.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in fullstack development with Node.js.

• Proven experience in creating and deploying scalable, high-quality applications.

• Demonstrable history of working within agile development environments.

• Experience in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects.

• Preference will be given to candidates with framework and cloud platform certifications or equivalent training.

Alternative Experience:
Candidates with substantial fullstack project experience, especially manufacturing, finance, healthcare, or fintech industries, will be considered provided they demonstrate relevant technical skills and project outcomes.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop, test, and implement new features or enhancements within fullstack applications.

• Debug and troubleshoot issues related to server-side or client-side code.

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review sessions.

• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Coordinate with DevOps and infrastructure teams for deployment and operational support.

• Regularly update documentation related to design, deployment, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications in cloud computing, fullstack development, or related disciplines are preferred.
