As a Software Engineer, you’ll design, develop and deploy applications capable of meeting and exceeding the anticipated load, performance and availability volumes, including load balancing, performance testing and benchmarking.

You’ll be working within a feature team and using your extensive experience to engineer software, scripts and tools that're often complex, as well as liaising with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.

You’ll also be:

• Producing high-quality software which adds value to our business
• Working in permanent teams on the full lifecycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning
• Collaborating to optimise our software engineering capabilities
• Designing, producing, testing and implementing our working code
• Working across the lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations

To succeed in this role, you'll need experience of using OIC integration with BIP reports, FBDI, HDL data loader and bulk data load jobs. As well as this, you'll need an understanding of SQL and PL/SQL. Experience of VBCS dashboards, the PCS workflow and BPM 11g would be advantageous.

You’ll also need:

• Experience of at least 8 years in designing, building, and optimising complex VBCS applications and dashboards, including VB Extensions
• Strong development experience in tuning performance and styling of VBCS dashboards
• An understanding of developing dynamic workflows and process automations using Oracle Process Automation (OPA),
• Experience in developing SQL/PLSQL solutions on Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) and produce BI Publisher (BIP) reports for Oracle ERP Cloud
• Experience in applying OCI Generative AI services, agent-based AI techniques, and machine learning (Python) to enhance solution capabilities
