About the role
Gartner is looking for well-rounded and motivated developers to join the IT Strategy and Operations team. The candidate must have proven record of successfully building and supporting BI & analytics solutions and platforms to join us in our evolution, taking a leading role in designing, implementing and evolving innovative capabilities tailored to solve complex scenarios and provide advanced data insights to IT teams. You will be responsible for the execution of our data strategy through design and development of Data platforms to deliver varied and complex Reporting, BI and Analytics solutions. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for Implementing End to End BI projects using PostgreSQL And Power BI tools on Azure platform. Additional responsibilities include monitoring existing processes, analysis and resolution of system issues in a proactive way.
What you’ll do:

Core team member of a high-performance business analytics team that translates business problems into technical solutions providing deep data insights to IT teams.

Execution of our data strategy through design and development of Data platforms to deliver Reporting, BI and Advanced Analytics solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate high-level decision-making needs into data, analytical and visualization requirements
-
Design, develop and maintain stable, scalable, and automated gold standard Business Intelligence products within Power BI

Own stakeholder management with team members and with cross-functional units. Facilitate proper communication and positioning of the automation vision and priorities to team members.

Demonstrate business ethics of highest order and percolate the culture of collaboration and teamwork in the best possible manner.
What you will need:
-
Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering.

2-4 years of experience in Design and Development of BI & Analytics projects in a global enterprise environment.

Extensive technical experience with Oracle /PostgreSQL OR SQL and writing advanced SQL queries.

Strong technical Experience in Power BI to implement Reporting, BI, Visualization of Advanced Analytics Solutions.

Proficient in Data warehouse design and BI application development

Deep understanding in writing SQL code and DAX functions.

Experience working with dataset ingestion, data model creation, reports, dashboards etc.

Demonstrated Ability to use GIT, Jenkins and other change management tools.

Fact driven and analytically-minded with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work independently or within a team, proactively, in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.

Strong ability to handle a heavy workload with multiple projects and frequent interruptions in a dynamic environment

Excellent Communication and Prioritization skills.
