Job Location: Chennai
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing custom applications, features, and integrations within the Salesforce platform.
- Provide system administration support of customized Salesforce applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflow.
- Work with cross functional teams to drive improvements/best practices including analyzing and optimizing Salesforce related platform design and setup
- Assist with the performance of business analysis in which information about business process and concerns are gathered from key internal business stakeholders
- Understand business requirements and map them to technology solutions and perform the build activities to deliver integrated solutions from the design stage to a functional application with a focus on SFDC best practices.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for design specifications
- Research and implement new functionality, features and customizations requested by stakeholders to improve business processes
- Strong on new Salesforce features and functionality, providing recommendations for process improvements
Technical Skills
- 5+ Years of experience with Force.com Platform and 1- 2+ Years of experience in Salesforce Architecture and its limitations.
- Experience with Salesforce Best practices for system development and integration.
- Strong background in database design and system architecture
- Experience doing major transformation from Classic to Lightning.
- 5+ Years of experience developing on Full-stack Force.com platform.
- 5+ Years of experience with Apex Triggers, Batch Classes and @Future Methods, Controllers Calling REST web services from Apex, generating and parsing JSON in Apex Visualforce Pages and Components Visualforce Remoting Effective Apex unit testing, including web service mocking
- Experience working with intermediate to advanced queries using SOQL & SOSL.
- Experience with Salesforce integration patterns, including application programming interfaces (API) and bulk data uploads.
- Experience with Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts and technologies such as ANT, SFDC Metadata API, Copado, Git (Code Commit) and DevOps in a Salesforce environment
- Experience in Lightning Design System with Visualforce pages, Lightning Component framework and other necessary UI technologies.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud functionality and experience with Salesforce CPQ / Billing is a plus.
- Experience with CPQ objects used in quote to order processes with in-depth knowledge in Product setup, Product Options, Product configuration & rules, Pricing, Discounting and Quote templates is an added advantage.
- Salesforce Admin, Platform Developer-I, SF CPQ Specialist & Javascript Developer-I certificates are preferred.
