Ericsson is seeking a Solution Architect for a Level 2 operations support role focused on sustaining and improving Oracle Fusion ERP operations for enterprise customers. This senior, hands-on role combines deep Oracle Fusion expertise with L2 operational responsibilities: incident and problem resolution, system health monitoring, change validation, integration support, automation and continuous improvement. The role is the primary technical escalation for L1 teams, coordinates with product and vendor (Oracle) support, and develops reliable runbooks and operational improvements. Rotational shift coverage (including odd hours and weekends) and mandatory on-call duty are required.
What you will do:- Act as L2 technical lead for Oracle Fusion ERP operations across relevant modules (Financials, SCM, HCM).- Triage, diagnose, and resolve escalated incidents (ServiceNow/Jira) to meet SLA targets; perform root cause analysis and drive permanent remediation.- Troubleshoot application, integration and data issues including middleware, REST/SOAP services, file transfers and batch jobs.- Lead and validate patching, periodic updates and upgrades; coordinate cross-functional validation in non-prod and production and produce rollback plans.- Design, maintain and continuously improve operational runbooks, SOPs, deployment checklists and run schedules.- Execute and validate complex data loads, data fixes and reconciliations using FBDI, ADFdi, WebADI, Fusion Integrator/ICS/ODI and custom ETL.- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting and health checks for critical business processes and integrations.- Drive automation (scripting, scheduled jobs, CI/CD where applicable) to reduce manual effort and operational risk.- Manage Fusion security and compliance activities: user provisioning, roles/entitlements, segregation of duties, audit logs and support audits.- Produce and present operational metrics and reports (OTBI, BI Publisher) to stakeholders; proactively identify trends and capacity risks.- Mentor and guide L1 engineers, lead knowledge transfers, and contribute to capacity and on-call planning.- Liaise with customers, internal product owners and Oracle support for escalations and solution design changes.- Participate in rotational shifts and mandatory on-call duties, including odd hours and weekend support.
The skills you bring:- 8-10 years of IT experience with minimum 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion ERP operational/support experience.- Deep practical knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules administration (Financials Cloud strongly preferred; exposure to SCM/HCM is a plus).- Proven experience troubleshooting integrations and interfaces: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), ICS, SOA, middleware, REST/SOAP APIs, FTP/SFTP and file-based interfaces.- Strong expertise with Fusion tooling: OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, ADFdi, Functional Setup Manager, Security Console and Web Services.- Advanced diagnostics skills across application, integration and data layers; comfortable writing and using SQL/PLSQL for forensic data fixes and reporting.- Experience with ITSM tools and ITIL-aligned processes for incident, problem, change and release management.- Solid understanding of cloud operating models (OCI preferred; AWS/Azure exposure acceptable) and environment promotion/CI-CD practices for SaaS and PaaS integrations.- Scripting and automation skills (Python, Shell, PowerShell, SQL scripts) to build/run operational automations and monitoring.- Experience with application performance monitoring, logging and alerting solutions and the ability to interpret metrics to tune processes.
