Arcesium seeks a talented and motivated Solutions Architect to join our Technology team. This person will draw on their technical expertise to execute cross-cutting solutions that helps integrate and scale the Arcesium technology platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of critical initiatives that will help Arcesium achieve its strategic goals and growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Understand the capabilities of the Arcesium technology platform and design and implement solutions that will help integrate the platform and unlock scale.  
  • Set up a collaboration framework for internal teams to propose, communicate and execute critical technology initiatives. 
  • Build and maintain relationships, and create trust with internal stakeholders from the Engineering and Product organizations 
  • Work with senior management to prepare annual R&D programs and report progress with milestones that add value early and incrementally. 
  • Manage risks pre-emptively, while using metrics to drive projects forward and escalate risks to Stakeholders. 
  • Recommending process improvements to support growth and other internal goals. 
  • Communicate with all stakeholders, prepare project plans, release notes, and conduct regular governance meetings. 
  • Teaching and mentoring project management skills to peers, building redundancy. 

What You'll Need:

  • A formal degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with 7-10 years of experience in building technology solutions. 
  • Good understanding of distributed systems architecture, cloud development, API integrations and DevOps philosophy especially knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes. 
  • Programming experience in Python/Java or any similar programming language is a must
  • Good understanding of working with distributed teams using Agile and Kanban. 
  • Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.  
  • Proficiency in using Project Management and Communication tools 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to learn quickly, and the openness to try different tools, technologies & concepts 
  • The ability to be self-motivated and to think independently while being a team player
