The Sourcing Executive / Analyst is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services. The role involves data analysis, vendor negotiations, market research, and process optimization to enhance sourcing efficiency.
What You Will Deliver
- Supplier Identification & Evaluation:
- Research and identify potential suppliers based on business requirements.
- Assess supplier capabilities, pricing, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors.
- Procurement & Negotiation:
- Request and analyze quotations from multiple suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to optimize costs and quality.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
- Market & Data Analysis:
- Analyze procurement trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Prepare reports on key sourcing metrics and supplier evaluations.
- Process Improvement:
- Optimize procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve sourcing strategies.
- Implement best practices in supplier management and procurement.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing practices and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier performance and supply chain disruptions.
Who You Are
- Any Degree or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and MS Excel / procurement software.
- Knowledge of market trends, supplier management, and cost analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
