Role Overview:
Salesforce developer is responsible for implementing solutions leveraging OOB features and customizations as per design. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in declarative tools, configurations, Apex programming and Lightning components. He will have sound understanding of integrations, data migration and development best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Configure Salesforce objects, fields, Flows, validation rules, and approval processes.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.
Write test classes to ensure desired code coverage.
Maintain data integrity , security and scalability of salesforce platform.
Perform unit testing and address defects raised during test phases.
Configure reports and dashboards to derive meaning full KPI’s as per client requirements.
Perform deployments using VS Code, Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines.
Leverage any DevOps application such as Gearset, Copado, Flowsum.
Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and coding standards.
Provide support and troubleshoot issues during different phases in project.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5 to 10 years of demonstrated experience as Salesforce developer
Must have done more than 2 implementations of Sales, Service or experience cloud.
Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Components, Java script, and SOQL/SOSL.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration patterns.
Sound understanding of CPQ and Revenue Cloud
Familiarity with Salesforce DX, Git, and deployment tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Exposure to DevOps tolls such as Copado, Gearset.
Should have executed projects leveraging Agile methodology.
