About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Tax Specialist to join our tax team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in assisting global tax teams with accurate and timely global tax compliance reporting and tax audit procedures. This role requires collaboration with various departments and a strong understanding of accounting and tax principles

What You Will Do in This Role

Data Retrieval and Organization

• Pull data from Oracle and other accounting systems like Business Objects for various tax needs, such as 26Q, 27Q, and CIT return reports.

• Keep data organized and accessible for other tax functions.

Tax Reporting and Compliance

• Prepare and adjust tax reports for global teams in EMEA, APJ, and the US, ensuring everything is accurate and on point.

• Create schedules for tax reporting, including fixed assets and equity, as needed.

• Review invoices for accurate tax return information.
   

Reconciliation and Accuracy

• Reconcile taxes to prevent tax leakage.

• Handle tax-related journal entries and adjustments, especially at year-end.

• Reconcile tax ledgers quarterly to keep everything balanced.
   

Collaboration and Support

• Work closely with teams like Accounts Payable, Treasury, Legal, Payroll, and IT to meet tax compliance requirements.

• Assist with tax audits by gathering and organizing the required data.

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role

• CA Inter / ICWA Inter with 3-5 years of experience, or B. Com / M. Com with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.

• Experience in GST, Corporate Tax, or Global Taxes is preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel formulas and functions. Knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP software is preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
