About the role

Looking for a strong Quality Assurance specialist with a background in Master Data Management or Data Quality validation expertise.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for MDM solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and business rules.
  • Conduct thorough testing of MDM systems to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in data management processes.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Validate data integration and data migration processes to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Strong understanding of MDM concepts, including data matching, data cleansing, merging, and survivorship, is crucial.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data querying tools for comparing and testing data.
  • Develop test scripts for data testing in MDM solutions for entity creation with services.
  • Design test cases and test plans to test survivorship rules to determine which attributes should be retained in the golden record.
     

What you’ll need:

Overall 4+ years of experience in Information Technology with specialization in SDLC / Agile based delivery. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
 

Must have:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance, specifically in Master Data Management (MDM) environments.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, and data quality standards.
  • Experience with MDM tools and platforms such as Ataccama, Informatica, SAP MDG, IBM InfoSphere, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong command on any programmatic language like Python/Java.
