Job Description SummaryThe Staff – Analytics Product Manager is part of the Digital Technology (DT) organization in GE Vernova. This DT role covers the delivery of Data & Analytics outcomes for the Operations, Strategy & CTO functions within the Enterprise Development Growth & Excellence (EDGE) organization and reports to the Enterprise/HQ Analytics and AI Leader. The Analytics Product Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging business needs with advanced analytics solutions. This position is responsible for driving business engagement, gathering and refining analytics requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and data models. The role requires a deep understanding of source application data models and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including those focused on AI/ML/GenAI initiatives. This leader owns prioritization, resource planning, project/program execution, vendor management, and budgeting/financial stewardship across the scope.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

· Engage with business stakeholders to identify analytics opportunities and understand strategic objectives.

· Gather, document, and prioritize analytics requirements in alignment with business goals.

· Conduct thorough business analysis to translate requirements into actionable plans.

· Analyze source applications and their data models to assess data quality, availability, and suitability for analytics purposes.

· Collaborate with data engineering and AI/ML/GenAI teams to design, implement, and integrate advanced analytics models.

· Perform analytics data modeling to support reporting and dashboard development.

· Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that deliver clear, insightful, and actionable information to stakeholders.

· Ensure data governance, accuracy, and consistency across all analytics deliverables.

· Communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

· Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Data Management, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics

Position Title Staff – Analytics Product Manager – Operations, Strategy & CTO

  • Location Bangalore-India, Monterrey-Mexico, Budapest-Hungary
  • Travel 20% (Domestic and International)
  • Minimum of 7 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product
  • Proven experience in business analysis, product management, or analytics roles.
  • Strong understanding of some of the source application data models and data structures like ERPs, CRMs and PLMs.
  • Experience working with AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI models in an analytics context.
  • Expertise in analytics data modeling, dashboard, and report development using modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear business insights.
  • Familiarity with data governance and best practices for data quality and security.

Preferred Qualifications

· Master’s degree in a relevant field.

· Experience in cloud-based analytics environments (e.g., Databricks, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

· Prior work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

· Certification in analytics, product management, or related disciplines.
