We're looking for an Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Product Security Team. Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
- Building scalable backend services for secrets and key management across authentication, CI/CD, cloud, runtime, Kubernetes, databases, and secrets engines
- Designing and implementing secure APIs, automation workflows, and service integrations to enhance secret lifecycle management
- Ensuring secure storage, rotation, and access control of secrets across distributed environments
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering preferably in backend engineering
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java)
- Must be proficient in micro service development. Demonstrated experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in API design standards and best practices (OpenAPI, REST, etc) for integrating secret management systems
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience implementing HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management platforms at enterprise scale
- Proficiency with public cloud security models (AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, Google Cloud KMS)
