As a Strategy Manager within the Strategy & Go-to Market team, you will be responsible for leading development of the strategy and preparation of strategic analysis to support growth in the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customer segment, a cornerstone of the AGL strategy, through business analysis, insights, strategic planning and execution of strategic initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:

Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external consultant to develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy which incorporates market dynamics, customer needs, and AGL’s decarbonisation roadmap.

Continuously refining growth and customer partnering strategies and supporting discussion with customers on strategic topics like decarbonisation initiatives.

Engaging with industry partners and internal stakeholders to gather commercial insights for business case development and facilitating discussions with customers regarding net-zero and decarbonisation solutions.

Conducting market, strategic and financial analysis to inform business decisions and supporting tender/grant applications, as well as financial modelling and strategic recommendations.

Participating in AGL wide strategic planning process with opportunities to deliver company wide strategic projects as part of a cross-functional team.
What you’ll bring:
-
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business or related field coupled with energy sector and/or decarbonisation knowledge particularly in renewable energy, energy storage technologies, or industrial decarbonisation advantageous.

An understanding of new emerging and decarbonisation technologies relevant to business.

Excellent quantitative skills and ability to oversee analytical works (by more junior team members or external consultants) within multidisciplinary teams.

Capability of navigating ambiguity and uncertainty for risk-optimised decision-making.

Experience in B2B environments and well as proven stakeholder and project management skills.

Excellent communication (verbal and written), complex decision-making and ability to manage competing priorities and multiplicity of opportunities.
