Salary range: Rs 300000 - Rs 350000 (ie INR 3-3.5 LPA)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality of supplied components and finished products. This role involves conducting inspections, validating compliance with technical drawings, and maintaining accurate quality documentation to support production and delivery standards.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and PDI (Pre-Dispatch Inspection) on completed orders, including detailed reporting with photographic evidence
  • Ensure all products meet drawing specifications and quality standards, with timely submission of inspection reports
  • Track order progress and provide daily updates to the reporting manager
  • Conduct visual inspections for welding and hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) as per requirements
  • Handle in-process inspections when required to ensure quality at every stage
  • Support in preparing CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) reports in case of non-conformance (NCR)
  • Execute additional quality-related tasks as assigned

Authorities:

  • Approve and release PPAP and PDI reports

Accountability:

  • Accuracy and completeness of all inspection and measurement reports
  • Timely submission of daily activity reports and inspection summaries

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of PPAP and PDI processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Basic knowledge of welding processes and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Proficiency in using measurement instruments and inspection tools
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel for supplier inspections as needed

Good to Have:

  • Experience in machine parts and component inspection
  • Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and processes
