Essential Responsibilities
- 5 to 8 Years of experience to Carry out PcVue SCADA Projects for any Industry.
- Understanding Customer Requirements and produce Functional and design documents.
- Support ongoing project with strict timelines as per company’s OTR process.
- Actively engage with project teams to provide solutions for the project that technically fit the purpose.
- Identify technical risks and put in place the mitigation plan for the same.
- Ensure strict compliance with all company and customer’s EHS policies and procedures.
- Identify and propose improvements in process, tools, system solutions and technologies, rolling out improvements when agreed with leadership team.
- Foster relationship with other GE business entities to maximize the benefits of synergies.
- Liaise with other GE businesses, platform verticals, supply chain, sub-contractors and suppliers as appropriate to support the project and the business.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Masters /Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation engineering.
Technical Experience
5 to 8 years of experience in the following
- Significant Application development expertise in.
- Hands on experience in System design – HMI server client configuration, Redundant server configuration, etc.
- Expertise in Historian, Alarm Management (Historical, SMS, Email, Voice).
- Report Generation Knowledge (Shift/Batch/Day) with Backend SQL & MS Access.
- Strong background in HMI application development for Intouch products. Experience in back-end scripting (VBA Scripting knowledge, C, C++ knowledge), Interface with database such as SQL, MS Access etc.
- SCADA development and Commissioning autonomously in any Process industry.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and application of virtual machines in a Microsoft Windows operating environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the HMI application development including cyber protection requirements.
- Strong computer skills: experience in setting up Windows applications such as Windows 11 and above proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
- Experience in working with web-based application development.
- Experience in working with IOT/Thin Clients/ESXi.
Personal Qualities
- Capable of Working in a multi-disciplined international team with good personal organisation skills.
- Ability to multi-task on a variety of projects to strict time scales.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- French /German Language skills is desirable
Circumstances
Willing to travel on short notice within base country and overseas for short/long term assignments.
