We are looking to hire a System Test Engineer Team Lead who will work in the test solutions group at NVIDIA developing manufacturing test solutions for Datacenter products. Through HW and SW expertise, you will work with a small team to explore challenging areas of test coverage and test automation to find the right solutions. NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over two decades. Our invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU enabled modern AI — the next era of computing. NVIDIA is a “learning machine” that constantly evolves by adapting to new opportunities that are hard to solve, that only we can pursue, and that matter to the world. This is our life’s work: to amplify human creativity and intelligence. Make the choice to join our growing team today!

What you will be doing:

  • Define and implement manufacturing test solutions for Datacenter System products.

  • Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technology and methodology to improve production efficiency.

  • Develop test strategy for new product features including identification, specification, design and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment and diagnostic software.

  • Review and provide feedback for DFT in the early design stages.

  • Debug complex hardware and software issues during build phases.

  • Contribute to automated diagnostic generation and validation infrastructure.

  • Coordinate the efforts of additional team members.

What we need to see:

  • 8+ years of experience with post-silicon validation experience in Board or System products.

  • BS Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

  • Experience working with manufacturing test programs at platform level.

  • Experience with Datacenter Platforms.

  • Background with Python programming and bash scripting.

  • Experience in team leadership and coordination.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

  • Experience with rack and cluster level test, test methodology and strategy will be a plus.

With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the most desirable employers in the world. We have some of the most brilliant and talented people in the world working for us. If you are creative, autonomous and love a challenge, we want to hear from you. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
