Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards; build and optimize SSIS ETL packages; create SSRS reports; ensure data accuracy and performance; manage large datasets from SQL Server and other sources; implement row-level security; support production issues and document technical solutions.
We are looking for a highly skilled Tableau Developer with strong hands-on experience in SSIS and SSRS to join our analytics
team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building
interactive dashboards, managing ETL processes, and delivering enterprise-grade
reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and visual analytics solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and data
visualization requirements.
• Develop and optimize SSIS packages for ETL, data integration, and data
transformation.
• Create and manage SSRS reports (tabular, matrix, charts, sub-reports,
drill-downs).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance tuning of reports and
dashboards.
• Handle large datasets from multiple sources (SQL Server, flat files, APIs,
etc.).
• Implement row-level security and best practices in Tableau.
• Collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, and business analysts.
• Provide support for production issues and performance improvements.
• Document solutions, processes, and technical designs.
Requirements
Must-Have:
• 6–8 years of experience in BI / Reporting / Data Analytics
• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server
• Advanced expertise in SSIS (ETL, Control Flow, Data Flow, Error
Handling)
• Strong experience in SSRS (report design, parameters, subscriptions)
• Excellent SQL skills (joins, CTEs, stored procedures, performance tuning)
• Experience with SQL Server as a primary data source
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (facts, dimensions, star
schema)
Good to Have:
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools
• Exposure to Azure / AWS data services
• Knowledge of Python / R for analytics
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environment
