This role is based at our Chennai office in India. Appian was built on a culture of in-person collaboration, which we believe is a key driver of our mission to be the best. As a Talent Acquisition Partner at Appian you will own:  

  • End-to-End Recruiting: Manage the full candidate lifecycle, including sourcing, initial screening, interview loop facilitation, candidate management, and closing.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Proactively identify passive candidates through research, networking, leverage active and passive sourcing channels to attract talent for Appian. 
  • Client Management & Partnership: Understand Appian’s business strategy and competitive position, Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers and senior leaders, managing client expectations, and driving hiring strategies. 
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use recruiting metrics (e.g., pipeline data, conversion ratios, cycle times) to measure performance and improve efficiency.
  • Process Improvement & Projects: Continually help improve, evolve and scale our interview best practices.
  • Candidate Experience & Advocacy: Deliver a high-touch candidate experience, acting as an advocate for the candidates.
  • Branding: Contribute to building positive brand recognition in the local and domestic community.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • You bring 3+ years (up to 6) of experience in navigating the fast-paced world of talent acquisition
  • You are a true Talent Advisor with demonstrated experience and the ability to influence
  • Ability to prioritise reqs and needs of departments  
  • Self aware and thoughtful in every situation, internally & externally 
  • Use market knowledge and data to drive a hiring process
  • Innate sense of urgency and tenacity, comfortable in a fast paced environment
  • Holds self and others accountable for delivering results.
