As Toku’s Talent Specialist, you’ll play a dual role in driving our recruitment efforts while supporting key HR functions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of people operations and talent acquisition, with a focus on finding exceptional individuals to join our mission-driven team while maintaining smooth HR processes.
What you’ll do
- Talent Sourcing
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify top talent.
- Leverage Boolean search techniques and advanced sourcing tools (e.g., Seekout, LinkedIn Navigator) to build diverse talent pipelines across roles.
- Conduct initial outreach and candidate engagement to spark interest.
- Screen resumes and conduct preliminary assessments to ensure alignment with role requirements and cultural fit.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and refine sourcing strategies.
- HR Coordination
- Support onboarding processes, ensuring new hires have a seamless and welcoming experience.
- Assist in the administration of HR systems, benefits enrollment, and payroll coordination.
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases to reflect current staffing levels.
- Support compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in the creation of HR policies, processes, and templates that reflect Toku values and legal requirements.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment, sourcing, and HR operations, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and sourcing platforms (e.g., Lever, LinkedIn Recruiter, Seekout).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build trust.
- Understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Bonus experience:
- Experience in fintech or technology-driven environments.
- Exposure to global hiring or working with distributed teams.
