The Team Lead for O2C (Order to Cash) Collections and Overall O2C Process will be responsible for managing the end-to-end O2C functions, driving collections efficiency, optimizing cash flow, ensuring adherence to processes, and leading a high-performing team. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills to maintain operational excellence and foster continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:

Collections Management:

  • Monitor and manage accounts receivables, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
  • Develop and execute strategies to reduce overdue receivables and dunning failures.
  • Handle escalations for payment-related inquiries from key customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes affecting collections.
  • Analyze customer payment trends and recommend credit control improvements.

O2C Process Management:

  • Oversee the entire O2C process, including order management, invoicing, credit control, Billing and cash application.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders, billing, and cash receipts.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to streamline workflows.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive automation and innovation through the adoption of new technologies and best practices.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of collection specialists and O2C process associates.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork within the department.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding O2C operations.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on KPIs and collection performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure smooth collection processes.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and collection efficiency rates.
  • Reduction in aged receivables (especially 90+ days).
  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly cash flow targets.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of O2C metrics.
  • Process improvement initiatives and automation success

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA or relevant certifications (preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in O2C processes, collections, or credit management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing collections and cash flow improvements.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end O2C processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, HRC, Salesforce etc.).
  • Experience in process automation and digital transformation.
