The Technical Account Manager is responsible for seeking new sales opportunities in the automobile industry, achieving sales targets, and providing technical support to customers. They will prepare proposals, conduct product presentations, and maintain communication between sales and factory. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and a focus on customer satisfaction while managing competitor awareness and market dynamics.
Activity
- Seek new sales opportunities with new and existing customers in India for market development
- Achieve sales target and budgets as agreed with company policy.
- Product presentation, product introduction, and involving internal resources to achieve sales grow.
- Advise management of events and status of customers and market situation.
- Participate actively in providing local contribution to the global key accounts.
- Timely feedback to management about the customer visit and supporting sales to do technical clarification to customer.
- Complete proposal on automobile industry customized product by fully analyzing market and customer need, contract negotiation and sign contract.
- Work as a contact window between sales and factory to secure smooth implementation of sales projects
- Prepare comments & deviation according to customer specification for sales projects
- Smart selling and conducting training & technical communication to customers to increase customer satisfaction.
- Be a team player, involving others to achieve sales growth & customer satisfaction
- Maintain vigilance on competitor’s product and pricing in the target market
- Provide other services and duties as directed by management discretion
- Assist in collection of overdue accounts and Fapiao issue

Professional Background
- Bachelor degree in Automobile Industry or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years minimum experiences as Sales or Customer services in Automobile industry
- Experience in project management or solution consulting is preferred
- Experience in PLM related software sales or post sales is preferred
- Understanding and knowledge of the technologies related with Company Automobile Products will be a plus.
- Demonstrated operational excellence in analytical thinking, process development and improvement, problem solving and planning
- Willing and able to address escalated client issues with speed and urgency
- Cooperative and team-oriented personality with high motivation
- Fluent in English
